Hello, it's me Lydia Ann, the Chief Founder…. CEO and CREATOR of Live and Locate!

I’m 24, a proud Scorpio, English…and I love experiencing new adventures, seeing new sights and trying adrenaline-filled activities. 

My main mission in life is to see as much of the world as possible, and really I’m only just starting out but it will be nice to record my experiences in this blog to hopefully inspire others who are going or wanting to go through a similar journey to myself. 

Obviously, not everything, when travelling or living in another country is going to be plain sailing, but if I can be a source of advice for those of you who need help that would be great. There have been so many times where I’ve had to scroll through Google trying to find things to do on a budget, or how to get my social security number (bad memories are flashing back as I write this)… I mean if I can help then wonderful! 

On my rather amateurish blog, you can get travel tips, destination guides, unprofessional photos and much more, mwah! Welcome to my life. 

The meaning behind Live and Locate

At this moment in time, I’m quite happy being settled in Madrid. My boyfriend who happens to be from Chile, the home of the most creative slang you have heard in your life, is waiting to get his nationally! So I guess I will stick around Madrid with him until then and then we can see where we end up in the world after that! But to be honest, when it comes to travelling I hate to live out of suitcase and I’m also not brave enough live the backpacker life. I’d rather adopt the feeling of being comfortable and have somewhere I can call my home when on vacations.

Facts about Me Myself and Yo

Astrology and the idea the alignment of the planets and stars affect everyone’s mood etc depending on when your born is something I find super interesting. I’m currently listening to a Podcast by a wonderful lady called Mary English. Her podcast is ‘Learn Astrology with Mary’; I recommend a listen if you're interested in Astrology and birth charts too! 

I love a good nap and food, mostly sweet things which I’m trying to get out of the habit of but it's difficult, let me tell you!

I really enjoy watching Youtube Video’s or documentaries about minimalism and Tiny Houses. Despite the hatred of living out of suitcase, I do like to own fewer things and living with only things I actually need or fulfil a purpose. 

I have a degree in Historical and Performance Costume for Stage and Screen which is weird I know. It sounds ridiculous, but when you watch Netflix and HBO and series like Game of Thrones, the costumes don’t come from nowhere you know!

If you know me well, you will know I love a good cup of tea and a side course of biscuits. Whittard Earl Grey Tea is a definite favourite of mine.

I probably shouldn’t say this, but I love museums mostly Art museums. I could spend all day talking about them, so I’ll save it for another blog.

I’m creative, sarcastic sometimes, silly but I’d like to think of myself as a good person hoping to inspire the world with my blog!

I’m pretty darn realistic and if I can do these things then anyone can. I’m from Blackpool for crying out loud. All this is achievable for anyone. I have no gift of high intelligence, I wish I did. You just need some confidence and to do your research which hopefully I can help you with both. 

I’m really just trying to live la vida loca and you can do it too!
